Mother Earth

My Mother Earth Cosmos Series of Painting is inspired by the acts of damage to Mother Earth caused by humans who disrespect the Earth when they burn the rainforest, erode holes in the ozone layer with toxic releases of air pollution and all the explosions introduced through perpetual warfare which unleashes radioactivity to poison both Mother Earth and fellow human beings long after they have been fired.

In many of these paintings are fragments of matrix of steel structures that represent the man-made ruins and wreckage that is bitter legacy of exploded weapons and bombs. Also in this series are paintings of more natural eruptions of energy such as earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, volcanoes, and fire to remind man of the awesome and humbling forces of nature’s fury.
