My outdoor sculpture Shimmering in the Wind is a type of wind mobile that plays with the wind. It is created with many different materials: iron , copper, steel and stainless. Steel. This mobile incorporates a hemispheric crown in which many rods are woven into a dome-like shape topped with a spindle. The dome–like  crown also includes wind catching hemispheres and plates that the wind pushes against to cause it to spin. These wind catching plates and hemisphere s are made of stainless steel and are therefore highly reflective. Them shimmer as the domed crown spins. These shiny plates and hemisphere reflect both light and color.
