Fourteen-legged bug is a sculpture that is 11 feet in length ,8’ high and 8’wide. The cocoon-shaped body of the bog is mad of copper and was formed using the repousee technique. The different segments are riveted together. Its 14 legs are made of stainless steel with copper joints. Its head is made of brass with stainless steel antennae.

There are thousands of small living creatures in nature that we often don’t notice and even carelessly crush beneath our feet. These small living creatures have such interesting forms which we often don’t know about or appreciate. The Fourteen-legged bug is an imaginary insect that is a composite of several insect types. Although many insects are invisible to both our eyes and especially our consciousness, my Fourteen-legged bug is visible from quite a distance and is most striking up close
